Benefits and prizes

The winner of the AARP Innovation Labs and Venture Miami (City of Miami) pitch competition will receive the following:

  • The judges’ winner will receive $20,000
  • The peoples’ choice winner will receive $5,000
  • Recognition and interview opportunities through Venture Miami
  • Startups invited to pitch may be offered a spot in an upcoming AARP Innovation Labs’ accelerator cohort, where they can expect hands-on mentorship by a team with years of experience building and creating solutions for the 50+ audience.

Eligibility

  • USA based early stage startup

  • Less than $10 million in annual revenue

  • Received less than $25 million in investments

  • Demonstrate that your product empowers people to choose to live as they age

  • Articulate how AARP can help propel your business and improve the quality of life of those around us

  • Finalist must be available in person on March 9th in Miami.  All selected finalist will be responsible for their own travel and lodging
